2023.05.17 Cryptocurrency Cosplay Token (COT) launches ‘COT Pay’ for in-store payments, with the first round being introduced at sushi restaurant “Sakurazaka Watari” in Tokyo from May 17th (Wednesday).
Starting with the global cosplay NFT service “Curecos”, our company has been promoting the use of DApps. This time, from May 17th, 2023 (Wednesday), our company will introduce “COT Pay” enabling the use of cryptocurrency Cosplay Token (COT) for in-store payments. As the first-ever store to put ‘COT Pay’ into actual use, sushi restaurant ‘Sakurazaka Watari’ (Minato-ku, Tokyo) will allow its customers to pay for their meals using COTs.
COT is a cryptocurrency born with the mission of bringing new value to cosplay communities worldwide by utilising blockchain technology.
In response to the demands of COT holders and as part of our efforts to promulgate the use of COTs in various situations, our company has launched the “COT Pay” service.
At sushi restaurant “Sakurazaka Watari”, where COT Pay is to be introduced this time, customers can use COTs to pay for their meals. The payment process involves scanning the QR code of the store’s payment address with MetaMask or a cryptocurrency wallet with COTs, then sending Cosplay Tokens (COT) to complete the payment.
