The Philippines is one of the countries with a high interest in Japanese anime and cosplay culture. In the past, through OtaCute Philippines Inc., which organizes otaku events and operates the cosplay community app “Otasuke!,” we have conducted events related to anime and cosplay culture, receiving positive responses. The use of “COT Pay” for transactions within these events has also been increasing.

Furthermore, we operate the “COT project Cosplay (OtaCute) DAO,” which allows the creation and participation in COT-related events within the supporter community of “Otasuke!” This DAO has grown to include 1,300 participants.

In the Philippines, where various promotional and marketing activities have been conducted, we have entered into a partnership agreement with Altswich, aiming to further expand the user base of COT.

Altswich is known for its strong approach to the local youth, with web-related lectures in more than 10 universities. Additionally, their business virtual currency wallet, “Dehaka Wallet,” launched in August this year, garnered over 10,000 wishlists upon release. We anticipate a synergistic effect in acquiring users for both “Dehaka Wallet” and COT.

In the future, through our collaboration with Altswich, “COT project Cosplay (OtaCute) DAO” will aim to build a community of 10,000 members over the next year and focus on educational initiatives in the Web3 domain within the Philippines, as well as PR activities to increase COT holders.
