Cure Inc., a company aiming to expand cosplay token service with a mission to create new values for global cosplay communities by utilising blockchain technology will work together with ONIGIRI Plus, Japan’s first company specialising in cosplays dedicated to the further development of cosplay culture, to allow participants to join events by COT payments during “The 3rd Cosplay Festival in Sky Castle Nozuta”.

COT can be earned by uploading photos to the website of “Curecos”, a new global NFT service, but our ultimate scenario includes the use of COTs via wallets at thousands of events around the world in addition to its circulation within the website. The use of COTs at “the 3rd Cosplay Festival in Sky Castle Nozuta” is one of the many approaches to achieve that scenario.

 

■What is “Cosplay Festival in Sky Castle Nozuta”?
The project “Sky Castle Nozuta” started from the season in 2021 with a wish “to be embraced by the local communities and to contribute to the local development”.

“Sky Castle Nozuta” embodies the wish “to become a local symbol and a place to foster connections among local members” and the event “Cosplay Festival in Sky Castle Nozuta” is hence organised with an aim to widely spread and share this vision.

This is a rare event allowing participants to enjoy a football match while cosplaying. With COVID-19 restrictions in place constraining people’s entertainment, the chemistry it brings with sports is expected to lighten up the uncertain prospect ahead. We hope this event can become one upon which, from the perspective of the local community and parties related to F.C. Machida Zelvia, light is shedded by chemistry as a result of the collaboration of “football” and “cosplay”.

Furthermore, following previous events as precedents, we are honoured to have voice actor Mr. Yu Hayashi as our notable guest. Mr. Hayashi was the voice actor for many popular animations including Manjiro Sano in “Tokyo Revengers”, Ryunosuke Tanaka in “Haikyu!!” and Takuma Ino in “Jujutsu Kaisen”. His wide career spectrum also includes voice acting for overseas films and animations including Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) in “Home Alone 2 (TV Asahi version)” and Peter Pan in “Peter Pan 2 Neverland’s Secret”.
Mr. Hayashi will appear in the talk show which is to be held at Z Theatre in ZelviLand, and will be invited to call for and introduce F.C. Machida Zelvia team members at the beginning of the match.
